Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, soda, salt, and spices.
- Beat butter and sugar, add molasses, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients, chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough, cut shapes, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8-10 minutes.
